Conversations' Karen Bartlett met the team who can read your mind with a phone. Be afraid, this is pretty scary stuff.

Jim Fallon is a world-renowned neuroscientist. He’s also a potential psychopath, or so say the results of a brain scan and a series of genetic tests that he undertook to check if he was prone to Alzheimer’s disease.

“Luckily I took those tests at the end of my career, I was just at the point of retiring. I know that I’ve never hurt anyone, or gone to jail. But if I’d taken them and known that information when I was a wild young man it could all have been different.

App Review: Google + for Android

The Buzz is all around after Google released its New Social product Google+ a Social Networking Site to a limited number of users (and processing new invites) as an answer to its rival sites Facebook, Twitter and many others.
To my surprise Google also released an official app immediately in the Android Market for its Android users not to lose their mobile experience. Coming to the application I felt that the app hasn’t missed anything that the Web platform performs. I am able to do everything in the app that I performed in the web version.
This indicated Google hadn’t missed anything in the app. More or less I felt that the app is similar to that of the Facebook app for Android.
In my view Google + is nothing but a blend of Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, +1, Check in, buzz=Google+.

    Software Update: Nokia Symbian User

Manufactures generally tend to ignore their previous devices, especially when it comes to Mobile devices but Nokia proves that it’s something different. Attention Nokia 52XX series users.

Here is a good news and an example that Nokia even cares for its old models and strives for developing software as long as it can support its models.

Nokia has released a new firmware update for devices Nokia 5228, 5230, 5233, 5235, 5236 and the 5238. The new firmware for all these handsets brings some major changes.

The most important thing to be noted is that the Firmware update brings a new version of web browser V7.2 to the devices. The same web browser that is found in Symbian Anna. This new browser provides much improved Browsing experience.

    Nokia’s First Prototype WP7 Revealed

London Feb 11 2011, Nokia revealed its Partnership with Microsoft to compete against its rival Mobile operating systems like Android, IOS and Web OS. Nokia also announced their decision of making Windows Phones 7 with their own Hardware and within no time the prototype designs of Nokia+WP7 are out. The prototype devices look really awesome with three colors in choice – Black, Pink and Blue. The design of the phone is really eye catchy.
The information of the Hardware Specifications is not really known, but looking at the devices we can say that the screen is quite big and the UI on Nokia looks really cool. By looking at the concept phone we can say that the phone more or less resembles like C7, Its slim, its curvy and finally eye catchy! It is also informed that unfortunately Nokia N8 and C7 don’t get the Windows Phone 7 Update because of the hardware requirements WP7 has.
In the mean while Nokia and Microsoft work together to develop a new Mobile operating system to compete against their rival OS. Hope Nokia speeds up the process in developing Meego (which is a joint effort of Nokia, Intel, while AMD joined a little later) and come back with a surprise soon.
Hope WP7 brings back luck to Nokia with much more new improved Devices in future.
So hold your breath tight till MWC 2011 starts, Nokia might showcase a running phone with WP7 during the event.
We do like to know who loved the new design and Phone.
